This section contains a variety of documents that are not included in the documentation delivered with Silva.

Bug Tracking on Launchpad

The Silva issue tracker has been moved that to Launchpad. This move is part of an effort to enhance collaboration with other components in the software stack. Besides being the home of the GNU/Linux distribution Ubuntu, Launchpad also hosts Zope3 issues, Grok issues, SchoolTool, and has been the development hub of the dLCMS (dynamic Learning Content Management System, developed at ETH Zurich) for the last year.

For those who are not yet used to the Launchpad user interface, we've compiled a visual mapping that shows where the old issue tracker functionality can be found.

Installation documents

Windows

• Samuel Schluep, Doris Tomaschewski and Wolfgang Korosec composed an illustrated “Installing Silva 1.6 on Windows 2000 and XP” PDF which includes Python, Zope, and other component install instructions. 

Mac OS X

• Marc Petitmermet has created a Mac OS X based installer for Silva 1.1b1. Thank you Marc!
